A general statistics combined by local tourist accommodations and the management board of the Culture, Sports and Tourism showed that the locality has welcomed around 110,000 turns of visitors for staying, including 37,000 internationals from January 23rd to 29th. Almost all of international visitors came from Russia, South Korea, Thai, Germany, etc. The room capacity was almost full from 65-88 percent during the holidays.
Remarkably, the tourist area in Ham Tien – Mui Ne was crowded with visitors domestically and internationally. A wide range of tourism activities in celebration of Lunar New Year have been also held across the province during the four-day holiday, such as: dragon boat racing, Mui Ne sand-hill running competition, etc. Those activities are well-prepared for the purpose of serving holiday-goers, especially foreign tourists. In addition, many resorts held attractive Tet celebrations such as Gala dinners, lucky draw, lucky buds picking, lion and dragon dance, Chung cake wrapping, etc.
As reported by the local tourism sector, all security, order safety, rescues and food hygiene are strictly controlled and well managed without any regretful cases. The prices of services and rooms can be accepted without any complains.
