The 48MWP Hong Phong 4 solar power plant covers a total area of nearly 60 hectares, with a total investment of plus VND 1,000 billion. The plant uses the-state-of-art technologies from the G7 countries, such as: using one-way rotating shaft technology from Germany to bring higher power than fixed rack technology up to 25 percent; and the use of P19 panels under the Shingled Mono PERC technology will help to achieve a 19.4 percent higher efficiency and to save land area.
In addition, the plant also use advanced SCADA systems developed by Sun power, supporting the global operation and management more effectively.
After 4 months of construction, the Hong Phong 4 solar power plant has been official connected to the national grid in late May 2019 and began commercial operation in June 4th. Accordingly, the plant can meet the demand for power use of 46,040 households, helping reduce 62,700 tons of CO2 each year.
Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Le Thanh Nghi- General Director of Ha Do Binh Thuan Corporation highlighted the whole effort of the company staff in the cause of nationwide power supply, environment protection and fighting against climate change.
