The ceremony had the attendance of Chairman of the provincial People’s committee Nguyen Ngoc Hai and representative leaders of Phu Quy district.
The project, which covers a total land area of 21,426 m2 in Trieu Duong hamlet-Tam Thanh commune, has a designed capacity of 70 tons per day. The company will install a production chain with advanced technologies to classify daily-life waste, treat and recycle organic disposal for biological fertilizer production. In addition, paper and solid waste will be recycled at the site. The would-be factory is expected to create jobs for 60 people in the island, contributing to effectively supplementing the environmental criteria for a new-style rural district.
Speaking at the event, Chairman Nguyen Ngoc Hai asked departments, agencies and authorities of Phu Quy Island to closely work with the investor to finish all steps, ensuring the plant’s effective operation. According to the company’s director Nguyen Hoai Nam, the construction will be completed within 6 months and put into full operation to deal with dump sites in the locality, returning the cleanliness and green beauty to natural landscapes of Phu Quy.
