Binh Thuan to make the best preparation for tourism activities ahead of busy holidays

BTO- Department of Culture-Sports and Tourism recently issued a document to direct its affiliates in districts/city/town, management boards of tourist areas and tourism enterprises to intensify managing work to ensure a safe tourism environment during the public holidays in April.

Accordingly, people’s committees of districts/city/town are asked to take concrete measures in mobilizing citizens to preserve tourism environment, practice civilized lifestyle and cultural behavior with visitors. The authorities need to encourage local residents to collect garbage, clean up natural landscapes and roads leading to tourist destinations. Functional bodies take responsibilities for taking inspections on price listing, sanitation, food hygiene and safety, traffic safety, security, fire &explosion prevention in tourism accommodations.

Holiday of the Hung King Commemoration Day (the 10th day of the third lunar month) falls on April 13-15, followed by the Reunification Day (April 30) and May Day (May 1). Tourism sector is stepping up its preparation for welcoming a large number of domestic and international visitors. Therefore, local authorities are paying special attention to work relating to service prices, traffic safety, social order and security, as well as sanitation to maintain the brand name of a friendly and safe destination for tourists.
