The plant invested by Gia Lai Hydropower JSC, a member of TTC Group, was approved in July 2018 on the total area of 54.2 hectares in Ham Phu commune, Ham Thuan Bac district. Its capacity hits to 49MWp, with a provision of over 70 million KWh per year, and an investment capital of VND 1,000 billion.
The successful connection is a big step forwards the safety for the plant operation in the future. It also contributes to supplying power for the Southern region in particular and in the country in general.
According to the Department of Trade and Industry, Binh Thuan has over 100 solar power projects with a registration capacity of nearly 6,000 MWp.
