Several Vietnamese exporters of farm produce, food technology and household
appliances such as Gold Nuts Food, Long Quan Safe Food and Sunhouse Group also
popularize their products at the event.
Nguyen Thi Thu from Sunhouse Group said there are many opportunities for
Vietnamese brands, especially those of food, to enter Indonesia thanks to its
huge food demand. Indonesia is now also one of the major rice importers of
Vietnam.
Seminars, business-to-business meetings, thematic programmes on tea, coffee,
liquor, confectionery and health care food will also be held.
As the leading international fair on food, beverages and technology in Southeast
Asia, the annual SIAL InterFood attracts over 1,000 stalls from nearly 30
countries and territories such as the US, China, Taiwan (China), Belgium and
Vietnam.
The event will last untill November 24.
