With an estimated investment capital of more than VND 124.6 trillion, the projects have a combined capacity of 4,782.5 megawatts peak. Among them, 23 projects (with a total capacity of over 1,230 MWP) have been added to the national and provincial master plans for power development by the Government and Ministry of Industry and Trade. 52 others have been submitted to the Ministry of Industry and Trade in order to supplement to the province’s power development planning. With regard to the remaining 8 projects, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is collecting ideas from departments, agencies and localities in preparation for seeking the Government's approval.
