Although Vietnam only requires Euro 4 standard for diesel-fueled vehicles from 2018, the firm will provide diesel with the higher standard of Euro 5 to become a pioneer in the field, said a Petrolimex representative.
The move aims to supply customers with highest quality products, contributing to reduce emission to the environment.
Particularly, Euro 5 diesel oil also helps increase the endurance and capacity of vehicles thanks to low ratio of sulfur, which is safer for users.
Petrolimex Vice Director Nguyen Quang Dung said that the trade of Euro 5 diesel oil is part of the corporation’s business strategy of competing by products’ quality and professional services.
Alongside, the Petrolimex has also supplied Euro 4 RON 95 petrol from early 2017, and bio-fuel E5 RON 92 since December 15. It will stop selling mineral petrol RON 92 on January 1, 2018.
