Chairman of Binh Thuan provincial People’s Committee gives nod to open Phan Thiet night market

Accordingly, the province agreed to let out temporarily the vacant land located between Ngo Gia Tu street and Nguyen Phuc Nguyen street (Phu Thuy ward, Phan Thiet city) to Nhat Thuy Trade CO.,LTD (Nhat Thuy Company for short) for organizing night market. Nhat Thuy is allowed to build temporary stalls (not any permanent works) for business. At the same time, Nhat Thuy Company will be responsible for plans to organize the night market; to place public toilets in accordance with stipulations on environmental sanitation, order security and time operation. In the meantime, Phan Thiet city is assigned of giving instruction and assessing the night-market plan, clarifying the contract signed with small traders in terms of its content, duration and business layout.

Besides, Phan Thiet city’s authorities have to strictly manage the night market’s activities, frequently co-ordinate with relevant units to check food hygiene, sanitation, security and urban landscape.

The organization of night market in the heart of Phan Thiet hub will highlight the city’s tourism, entertainment, sightseeing and serving locals and visitors at night.
