20 typical young workers honored

BTO- The provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union branch and provincial Committee of  Vietnam Youth Federation lately partnered with the Youth Union branch of provincial agencies and enterprises to hold  an event themed “Festive Day for young workers” to honor typical young workers in 2020.

The event, which also included a contest “Youth with traffic culture”, had the attendance of leaders of units, enterprises in industrial parks, and 150 outstanding young workers. Over the past time, the movement “Creative youth” and program “Supporting youth to start business” have been implemented in many localities and in many fields, actively contributing to the common efforts in promoting industrialization, modernization and international integration. Particularly, young workers in Binh Thuan have engaged in many practical emulation movements, such as: “4-best”, “Practising theory and skills”, “Practising skills to compete in contests of best workers” … Through those movements, hundreds of exemplary young workers with excellent achievements, creative ideas and innovation have emerged.

With the purpose of encouraging young and talented youth who have actively joined emulation movements and made contributions to the young human resources for the cause of industrialization and modernization of Binh Thuan province, the organizers presented certificates of merit to 20 typical young workers representing hundreds of youth union members with remarkable achievements in working. On that occasion, the organizing board also handed over houses of compassion (with a total cost of VND50 million) to poor workers. 20 gifts were given to workers affected by Covid-19 pandemic.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Le Hoai Trung- deputy secretary of the provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Branch emphasized that the program was organized in a jubilant atmosphere in celebration of the 130th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890-2020) and Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th provincial Party Congress (Tenure 2020-2025).
