“Niem Tin Viet” scholarships arrive in Tuy Phong

With the total cost of VND 60 million, the scholarship-granting program, entitled “Niem tin Viet” (Vietnam’s faith)  was joint held by the district’s division of education, Vietnam Television station (VTV), Vietnam’s Heart Fund and Vietnam Electricity (EVN).

Representatives of VTV and EVN granted scholarships to poor school students in Tuy Phong

BTO – As many as 20 scholarships, worth VND 3 million each, accessed to disadvantaged students in the communes of Phuoc The, Phu Lac, Hoa Phu, Lien Huong townlet in the southern district of Tuy Phong, Binh Thuan province on August 30th morning.

The event aimed to support needy school students keep on studying and pursuing future dreams. Besides Binh Thuan’s Tuy Phong district, the program has also brought belief in life and intellectuality to all students living in mountainous, remote and difficult areas across the country. From 2016-2017, the organizing board of the program has so far delivered about 500 scholarships to students in 36 cities/provinces nationwide.
