Lam Dong and Binh Thuan exchanged cooperation to activate tourism stimulus

The program, contracted by Binh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Lam Dong Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, aims to bring into full play its potential, advantages of each locality. Those can create attractive tourism programs with high-quality services at reasonable prices, while it can carry out solutions to serving for tourism development after the epidemic, contributing to restoring socioeconomic development of the two localities.

According to Ms. Nguyen Lan Ngoc, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the signing cooperative program  targets at a number of specific contents such as: building and deploying tourism stimulus programs for products, themed "mountains and sea"; jointly organizing surveys and research journeys for travel businesses to create new products, expand tour routes between the two localities; encouraging and facilitating the stakeholders to set up service supply chains and all-in tours with appropriate prices plus service discount from 30-50 percent (until year-end 2020). In the meantime, the cooperation also boost media promotion on “Binh Thuan – Lam Dong: Safe tourist destinations”; and several tourism stimulus: “Da Lat – Land of Love” and “Oh Wow! Mui Ne”.

“The travel stimulus program is also an opportunity to mobilize the active response of business enterprises, tourism and travel business of the 2 provinces of Binh Thuan and Lam Dong. The cooperation program will enhance promotion for destination images, new tourism products and services, inter-provincial tours "mountains and the sea". Remarkably, the products included in the triangle tourism development between the two aforesaid provinces and Ho Chi Minh City under the theme of "Ben Thanh Market - Mui Ne Beach - Flower Da Lat”, said Deputy Director of Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc.

As now, the two localities are expected to enhance cooperation with Vietnam Airlines to pick up travel businesses from the Mekong Delta provinces to survey tourism products and services of the 2 localities. Apart from that, from July to the end of 2020, the Tourism Association of each locality mobilizes and encourages businesses in the area to reduce prices of products. It is necessary to announce tourism package programs which connects the 2 localities "1 trip, 2 destinations" with preferential prices, good service quality to serve visitors. The signing ceremony took place in the morning of July 7th in Phan Thiet city.
