International investors to survey “Giant” wind power project in Ke Ga

BTO – The People’s committee of Binh Thuan province has recently held a fact-finding tour for foreign investors to survey wind power potential in the sea of Ke Ga (Ham Thuan Nam district) before coming up to final decision on investment.

Previously, the Ministry of Public Security has sent Document No. 8373 to the authorities of Binh Thuan province, the Headquarter of Coast Guard, EVN Group and functional ministries to notice that the investors from England, Germany, Japan and Singapore will arrive in Ke Ga for a fact-finding tour. Those international investors would like to invest a 2,400MW- wind power plant in the locality. The project, which is expected to be divided into 4 phrases, is the Vietnam’s biggest project of this kind so far.
