Thuan Nam Wind Power project ratified

BTO – The provincial People’s Committee of Binh Thuan provinve lately issued a decision on approving the investment of Thuan Nam Wind Power Plant (Ham Cuong 2) in the communes of Tien Thanh (Phan Thiet) and Ham Cuong (Ham Thuan Nam).

The 19.8 megawatt-wind power plant, invested by HD Investment JSC with a total capital of nearly VND 900 billion, aims to generate an independent power source for national power grid.  The project is expected to be operational for 50 years since it is authorized (August, 2017). As planned, the construction will  start after finishing investment procedures in February, 2018 and put the plant in use in March, 2019.
