BTO- Duc Thanh School heritage is located at 39 Trung Nhi, Duc Nghia, Phan Thiet city. This school was built in 1907 (at the same year as Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc school) to “educate teenagers about their nation”. At the time, it was considered an advanced school on a nation – wide scale. In 1910, on the way to save his nation, the patriotic Nguyen Tat Thanh stopped and taught at this school. He won the love, the attachment of his colleagues, students and people in Binh Thuan during the period he was teaching here.

The condition of this original school where Uncle Ho taught was so much damaged that it was newly rebuilt. Now, when visiting this school, tourist can see that this school was restored from the original design (three table rows, one black board…), Fisher house, Ngoa Du Sao, Uncle Ho’s thistle, well and surrounding landscapes that are finely positioned, which shall make tourist feel that Uncle Ho’s picture is still somewhere around here.
In 1986, this heritage was recognized as a national heritage bay the Ministry of Culture and Information.
