The 3-star Vinh Suong Resort is located in Ham Tien-Mui Ne’s high-grade resort complex. Besides sunny beaches with smooth sand banks and blue water, Vinh Suong Resort also possesses coconut a number of famous groves of coconut trees featuring Rang area’s profile, a newly-planted casuarina forest slightly shaking in the sea breezes, and a garden with a variety of sweet-scented orchids.
Unlike other resorts, which have been complained about environmental pollution due to waste water, excreta, carbon emission and noise, Vinh Suong Resort has satisfied its guests with unpolluted environment and wonderful landscapes since it was established. Lately, functional agencies collected samples of waste water in Vinh Suong Resort to make assessment on the quality of water and environment by analysing indices including BOD5, TSS, Nitrate, Phosphate, Sulfur, Coliform etc. Accordingly, the final results show that all indices have met the strict requirements of national technical standards on domestic waste water management. The resort’s daily waste water volume of 50 cubic metre per day has treated properly thanks to the operation of a 60 cubic metre per day-waste water treatment system.
All sources of waste water must be passed through a sedimentation tank with aerobic biology, then filtered and sterilized. Treated waste water in Vinh Suong can soak into the ground or used as irrigation water for vegetation in the resort. Everyday, solid waste of Vinh Suong Resort is collected and removed by dump trucks of Phan Thiet Urban Construction One-member Co., Ltd. Other discharged items such as oily stained clouts, damaged fluorescent lamps, batteries,… are locally collected, sorted out, stuck with codes and put into temporary storage. Then the waste will be removed and treated by Phan Thiet Urban Construction One-Member Co., Ltd.
It can be said that, during 10 year-operation, Vinh Suong ecotourism resort has maintained its surrounding eco-system and natural landscapes containing green coconut forest of the old Rang region. Thus, the resort has its own attraction to lure more and more domestic and foreign tourists.
