However, at the present, the number of investment cooperation projects between India and Binh Thuan province is still modest with some agricultural projects. India has potential strengths in information technology, education, healthcare, etc.
At the reception, Chairman Phong agreed with the proposal of the Indian Consul General in some upcoming activities on study abroad, healthcare, trade, etc, saying that the province will send a delegation to participate in those activities. As for the upcoming investment promotion activities, the two sides will discuss more to come up with a plan for the organization.
According to Chairman Phong, in the coming time, Binh Thuan can remove difficulties in transport infrastructure and existing advantages to pave the way for Indian businesses to cooperate and invest in the locality; He also expressed that the Consul General would be a bridge to promote economic cooperation as well as people-to-people exchanges between the two sides.
In return, Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi thanked the leaders of Binh Thuan province for the thoughtful welcome. At the same time, he highly appreciated the potential and advantages of the province, saying that the Consulate General of India will organize study abroad exhibitions, and trade promotion meetings in the near future. This was a good opportunity for the two sides will exchange and develop many fields in the coming time.
The Consul General affirmed that he will be a bridge for Indian businesses to cooperate and invest in Binh Thuan province to promote further development in many fields of commerce, healthcare, and education.
