Binh Thuan: Over 300,000 students start new school year 2022-2023

BTO-More than 300,000 students of all education levels in Binh Thuan province took part in opening ceremonies for the new school year 2022-2023 on Monday morning (September 5).

In 2022-2023 academic year, Le Quy Don primary-secondary-high school (Phan Thiet city) welcomed 2,244 students with 74 classes (from 1st grade to 12th grade). The school’s opening ceremony saw the participation of Mr. Nguyen Minh-vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.

In Phan Chu Trinh high school, Mr. Tieu Hong Phuc-head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda & Education cum standing vice chairman of the provincial People’s Council attended the opening ceremony and extended congratulations to teachers and more than 2,000 students.

In the provincial boarding school for ethnic students (located in Ham Thuan Bac district), new school year opening ceremony was held with the participation of Mr. Phan Van Dang-standing vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, along with the school’s management board and nearly 900 students.

Teachers and nearly 2,000 students of Ham Thuan Bac high school (Ma Lam townlet-Ham Thuan Bac district) honorly welcomed the presence of Mr. Le Tuan Phong-Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee at the opening ceremony. On that occasion, Chairman Le Tuan Phong granted 10 scholarships to 10 students who have overcomed difficulties to get high scholastic performance.

On Monday morning, the management board, teachers and 2,165 students of Le Loi secondary- high school (Phan Thiet city) eagerly partook in the new academic year opening ceremony with the presence of Mr. Nguyen Van Tam-head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Internal Affairs.

The new school year opening ceremony of Ham Thuan Nam high school (Ham Thuan Nam district) was attended by Mr. Dao Hong Sy- head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization, leaders of the provincial Department of Education &Training, leaders of Ham Thuan Nam district, as well as teachers and 1,548 students.

In Tanh Linh district, Nguyen Van Troi high school solemnly held the opening ceremony for the new school year 2022-2023, with the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Van Quang-head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Inspection.

Also in Tanh Linh district, 766 students took part in the opening ceremony of Duc Tan high school with the presence of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam-head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Organization.

Quang Trung high school (Duc Linh district) solemnly held the new school year opening ceremony, with the attendance of Mr. Tran Van Toan-Director of the provincial Police, along with leaders of Duc Linh districts, teachers and nearly 1,400 students.

In Ham Tan district, Mrs. Bo Thi Xuan Linh-Chairwoman of the provincial Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front attended the new school year opening ceremony of Ham Tan high school.

The opening ceremony for the new school year of Nguyen Truong To high school took place with the presence of Mr. Nguyen Van Phong-vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee. In 2022-2023 academic year, Nguyen Truong To welcomes 280 students of the 10th grade among nearly 800 students in total.

At Bui Thi Xuan high school in Mui Ne ward-Phan Thiet city, an opening ceremony was organized to welcome the new school year 2022-2023, with the attendance of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thuan Bich-vice chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council, along with teachers and 1,178 students, including 412 students of grade 10.

In the northern- district of Tuy Phong, Colonel Nguyen Anh Nghia-Commander of the provincial Military Headquaters, on behalf of the province’s leaders, attended the new school year ceremony of Tuy Phong high school.

Mr. Phan Doan Thai-Director of the provincial Department of Education &Training, leaders of Bac Binh district, along with teachers and students of Bac Binh high school attended the new school year opening ceremony held in on Monday morning.

On Phu Quy island district, teachers and nearly 900 students of Ngo Quyen high school also had a solemn and meaningful opening ceremony to begin the new school year  2022-2023. Mr. Le Quang Vinh-Secretary of the district-level Party Committee cum Chairman of the provincial People's Committee of Phu Quy district attended the event and wished the school's teachers and students a successful new school year with higher achievements in teaching and learning.
