At the opening ceremony, the organizing board granted 20 scholarships (each worth VND 1 million) to help students with extremely difficult circumstances keep their study path, awarded Kim Dong prize to student Nguyen Huu Thieu Vy from class 5B, Lam Hoa primary school (Ham Thuan Bac district).
Ms. Tran Thi Hoa Xuan- Deputy Secretary of the provincial Youth Union branch stressed that, over the past time, the Youth Union branch, department of Education and Training and department of Labour-Invalids and Social Affairs always pay attention to caring and implementing practical programs and activities to create healthy and useful playgrounds for children to improve their physical and spiritual development.
Attending the two-day camp, children took part in many interesting and meaning activities, such as: paying tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and visiting Duc Thanh relic; setting up camps; the competition “Summer Camp Dairy” and a children forum “Joining hands to protect children-raise your voice to prevent violence and abuse against children, along with many other sporting activities and games.
