Commodity exports contributes over USD 280 million to the state budget

BTO – The third quarter of 2021 has ended amid many challenges and difficulties due to the impacts of the 4th outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic. Generally, the province’s export turnover hits USD 128 million over the past 3 months, a year-on-year increase of 8 percent.

To sum up, the province's export turnover had brought to the local budget up to USD 416 million in the past 9 months, up 24.2 percent over the same period last year. In which, 3 out of 3 key commodity groups have posted positive growth. Particularly, the aquatic group is estimated to gain 118.6 million USD (up 3.11 percent), agricultural groups hit USD 13.78 million (up 30%), and the miscellaneous group made up USD 283.62 million (up 35.46 percent).

Currently, the Asia market still accounts for a large proportion of Binh Thuan’s official export turnover, accounting for nearly 62 percent. The rest is American markets with 24,88 percent, and the European market with over 12 percent.
