Binh Thuan’s export turnover hits USD 525 million

BTO – Since the beginning of 2021, Binh Thuan’s export turnover of goods has reached USD 525 million, a year-on-year increase of 23.98 percent. Of these, the seafood group has reached USD 154.63 million, up 6,78 percent; agricultural products fetched up USD 16.94 million, up 37.29 percent; Other commodity groups generated USD 353.43 million, up 32.71 percent.

Despite the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, almost all businesses, especially those in the local industrial zones, still maintain their manufacturing and business operating, contributing to the province' s growth in export turnover.

In the past 11 months, the province’ s direct exports have recorded USD 518.01 million, up 27.51 percent. Goods exported to Asia markets gained USD 328.50 million, up 21.12 percent (mostly in Japan, Cambodia, and China). The European markets also posted a slight growth of 8.62 percent with USD 60.10 million, mostly in Russian, German and Italian markets). Groups of footwear, wooden furniture, white-leg shrimps, shoe soles, etc are among the majority of export volumes to the American markets.
