The closing ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong, leaders of the National Tourism Administration, representatives of provinces, cities, and international delegates. The Visit Vietnam Year 2023 “Binh Thuan – Green Tourism comes together” started with a vibrant and colorful opening ceremony, followed by over 200 cultural, sports, tourism, and artistic activities throughout the year 2023 in Binh Thuan and 41 provinces and cities nationwide, leaving a deep and beautiful impression on visitors and friends near and far. Especially, the people and tourists enthusiastically participated in the series of activities, contributing to the resplendent success of the National Tourism Year 2023.
In his speech at the Closing Ceremony, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Thuan province, Doan Anh Dung - Head of the Organizing Committee, affirmed that the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 is a great opportunity for Binh Thuan tourism to spread its rich historical and cultural identity to domestic and international tourists, with its unique traditional festivals. It stands out with its charming and beautiful natural landscapes, including the “Blue Sea - White Sand - Yellow Sun” of Mui Ne, captivating the hearts of visitors. This opportunity has facilitated a strong transformation for Binh Thuan tourism, attracting nearly 8.5 million visitors with a total tourism revenue of over 23,000 billion VND, nearly doubling that of 2022, making it one of the top 9 provinces and cities with the highest tourism revenue in the country.
Many outstanding performances were showcased in the artistic program at the closing night. According to the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Thuan province, Binh Thuan will persist in its goal of green and sustainable development, being environmentally friendly, harmonious with nature, and continue to preserve, promote, and promote historical relics, traditional craft villages, and unique cultural festivals.
At the same time, diversifying, improving the quality, and elevating the level of tourism products and services, creating a foundation for Binh Thuan tourism to take off, always being a beautiful, safe, and attractive destination for friends and tourists, contributing to the construction of a forever green, prosperous, and happy homeland and country.
In his speech at the Closing Ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong acknowledged and praised the efforts and endeavors of the provinces and cities, especially the proactive, creative, and determined efforts of Binh Thuan - the host locality, in stimulating tourism, promoting communication, introducing Binh Thuan as a destination, and Vietnam as a whole in the activities of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023.
Throughout the event, a series of events, forums, festivals, and activities were successfully organized in Binh Thuan and throughout the provinces and cities nationwide. These activities were organized to meet the set requirements and content, in various forms, worthy of the regional and national scale, as well as international standards.

The success of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 “Binh Thuan – Green tourism comes together” has also yielded high effectiveness in attracting investment, developing tourism products, and promoting the image of Vietnam’s land and people. It has also been a bright spot in economic recovery, with the tourism recovery results spreading to many sectors, contributing to improving the three growth drivers of the economy: investment, exports, and consumption. During the closing ceremony, the leaders of Binh Thuan province handed over the symbolic flag to Dien Bien province, the host of the National Tourism Year 2024 with the theme “Dien Bien - Unique Experience”.
The closing ceremony of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 “Binh Thuan – Green tourism comes together” took place at Ocean Dunes, Phan Thiet city. With the theme “Binh Thuan - Convergence of Green, Radiant Aspirations,” the program consisted of three chapters: Binh Thuan - Convergence of Green, the moment of transition - Welcoming the National Tourism Year 2024, and the Radiant Aspirations of the East Sea. The program was meticulously staged with a sophisticated system of light connected technology programmed to the rhythm of music, performances combined with video effects, laser light shows, and water music performances. Additionally, the program featured the participation of many famous singers such as My Tam, Trong Hieu Idol, Ali Hoang Duong, along with nearly 600 actors and artists, contributing to the success of the ceremony.
The Visit Vietnam Year 2023 “Binh Thuan – Green tourism comes together” concluded with the convergence of the Earth, Sky, Forest, and Sea, representing the captivating beauty of Binh Thuan - a land where visitors are reluctant to leave and those who have left always yearn to return.
