The program, first of its kind launched in Binh Thuan, would deliver
free-of-charge healthcare consultation, advice, and answering questions to all
patients via Hotline 1900.63.83.84, or QR’s Zalo. Besides offering exact and
helpful information about the Covid-19 pandemic, those volunteer doctors will
answer all patients’ questions in terms of dermatological diseases, surgical and
internal disease, children’s health, vaccination advice, health insurance, etc.
Lam Hong Tuyen, Acting Secretary of the provincial HCYU, Chairman of the
provincial Vietnam Youth Union, shared that: “the Program ai
ms to reduce the burden of medical examination and treatment at hospitals, especially in the context of the current complicated of Covid-19 epidemic province-wide and nationwide”. It also helps bridge the gap between patients in remote areas to doctors, solving the difficulties for the local healthcare systems and contributing to pushing away the epidemic.
Such a meaningful program is partially included in a series of the provincial
Youth Union heading towards the community. It also educates the young generation
on traditional history, revolutionary spirits, aspirations for contributions to
the homeland.
