Being in the role of an agency that performs the function of assisting the province's Sub-committee on International Economic Integration, the provincial Department of Industry and Trade has always paid attention to propaganda work, thereby enhancing dissemination as well as raising awareness of relevant subjects about the position, role, guidelines, and policies in economic development and international integration. In addition, it also regularly monitors and captures information about technical barriers in exporting goods to coordinate supply to local associations and businesses.

Meanwhile, the functional department also proactively deployed knowledge content related to our country's international economic integration to units in the province in a timely manner. Otherwise, the locality is implementing the roadmap for implementing commitments to free trade negotiations (FTA), the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). Or like the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam - Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam - EU (EVFTA), the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam - United Kingdom and Northern Ireland (UKVFTA), Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum (APEC), and so on.
In the 2023-2030 period, Binh Thuan sets a requirement to implement international economic integration tasks that are comprehensive, thorough, flexible, proactive, creative, and predictive so that it can bring efficiency and promote rapid and sustainable socio-economic development for the province. Therefore, in the coming time, the locality will focus on reforming and perfecting economic institutions as well as improving the business environment and enhancing competence capacity. Especially, legal documents with content related to international economic integration will be reviewed to proactively implement, or propose competent agencies to amend, supplement, replace, or abolish newly issued in accordance with obligations and commitments to international economic integration.
Additionally, the province also prioritizes coordination with ministries, branches, the Vietnam Confederation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), and business associations to promptly and effectively respond to and handle adverse developments in trade and investment.
In the coming period, Binh Thuan will also focus on implementing a number of key tasks, namely: Effectively implementing Free Trade Agreements (FTA); Promoting post-Covid - 19 economic growth and sustainable development; Comprehensive integration in the fields of culture, society, science, and technology, security and national defense.
