Binh Thuan – a paradise for National Holiday

BTO - Binh Thuan, a south-central coastal province, has grown to become one of the top resort destinations in Viet Nam, attracting millions of domestic and foreign tourists. The volume of tourist arrivals to Binh Thuan has increased yearly and sharply during the high season, especially in the National Holidays. The following are the most-visited places for your three-day journey to Binh Thuan in the upcoming Holiday of September 2nd.

1.Cu Lao Cau Islet

For most of the holiday-goers and backpackers, Cu Lao islet is right a newly-emerged “Paradise” thanks to its neglected and mysterious beauty. The islet has no human habitants, no power and is in short of pure water. Visiting the place, visitors may experience a wild life as Robinson on island. The Cu Lao Cau is no longer a wrong choice of travelers who love the nature, the sea and adventurous feeling.

2.Phu Quy Island

Thanks to favorable weather and beautiful landscapes bestowed by the nature, Phu Quy, a sole outpost island of Binh Thuan, has become popular among tourists domestically and internationally, but mostly domestic tourists. Located 120km from the resort town of Phan Thiet, Phu Quy is not big or crowded like its better-known counterparts Phu Quoc and Nam Du islands. There are no tourist traps or anxious tourists here, which helps the secluded island retain the untouched beauty of its long, sandy beaches and turquoise sea.

3.Co Thach beach

Located in a deserted area 90km from Phan Thiet City, Co Thach beach, one of the most unique population of stones in Vietnam, has clear water and quiet waves. The beach is covered with small stones in various colours and shapes, pushed to the shore for thousands of years. The stony surface, about 1km long and 200-300m wide, looks stunning as the colourful stones glisten under the sunlight, attracting a great number of tourists in Spring season.

4.Ke Ga Lighthouse

With blue sea and pure air, the nostalgic Ke Ga lighthouse and yellow rocky expanse are surely a getaway for tourists to escape from daily harship. When the tide down, Ke Ga Cap is seeming a part of the mainland as it reveals a strip of sand connecting the two parts.

5.Mui Ne Sand Dunes

Mui Ne sand dunes, also called Mui Ne flying sand dunes or Red sand dunes, is the so-called unique sand dunes of Vietnam thanks to a very special and changeable shape existing hundreds of years ago.  Its shape changes hourly, daily and monthly due to the impact of the wind and the season.

6. Ta Cu mountain tourist area.

Different from other tourist areas, Ta Cu mountain is now an emerging destination for pilgrims and visitors domestically and internationally. The spot is not very far from Phan Thiet city and is a must-visited tourist site of Binh Thuan province.

7. White Lake

The stunning scene of Bau Trang (White Lake) would never make you regret once visiting the area. The White Lake is surrounded by sand dunes and a wonderful lake with sun, wind. The sand dune’s color has gradually turned from yellow in the past to pure white nowadays.

8. Mui Ne fishing village

An other not-to-miss destination for visitors in this national holiday is Mui Ne fishing village. This is a popular and truthful address for guests to buy fresh seafood at dirt-cheap prices as well as behold the spectacular landscape.

9. Poshanu Cham Tower

Don’t forget to visitors Poshanu Cham Tower if you visit Phan Thiet for 2 or 3 days. The spot bears a hallmark of the Cham community’s culture, history and tradition. The tower has become an attractive tourist area for both domestic and international visitors.

10. Mui Ne Fairy Stream (Red Stream)

Mui Ne Fairy Stream, also known as Red Stream, is a scenic spot and a photography hotspotin Mui Ne due to its dramatic landscape of reds, whites, oranges and pinks. Situated about 18km from Phan Thiet city to the North East, Fairy Stream is a truly romantic and poetic place, which seems to offer the best views of nature.

Adventurous visitors can also climb to the top of the sand dunes and pitted rock formations, both of which offer breathtaking views of red-hued waters and intricate stalagmites.
