Two first prizes went to Pham Duy Tan, from the University of Architecture - Ho Chi Minh City, and Le Quoc, from the Hue University of Sciences, for their projects on the Lanh My A Museum and the Huong Vinh Canal, respectively.
15 second, 20 third and 20 consolation prizes were also presented to other excellent projects on the occasion.
The annual Loa Thanh Awards were jointly held by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Vietnam Federation of Civil Engineering Associations, and the Vietnam Association of Architects.
They aim to honour the creativity and talents of graduates from architectural and engineering universities nationwide.
This year’s event attracted the participation of students from 18 universities throughout the country with nearly 180 projects submitted in various fields including architecture-planning, civil engineering, traffic engineering, and infrastructure engineering, among others.
