The provincial departments in collaboration with Directorate of Water Resources, Department of Water Resources Management, Vietnam Electricity, hydropower reservoir and irrigation investors make a plan for water supply regulation for downstream during the dry season 2017, which is suitable for water demand at localities; hydrological forecasting in compliance with the inter-reservoir operating procedures, the reservoir operating procedures for competent authorities. Hydrological situation at reservoirs and the weather are monitored closely. If there are unexpected developments, water supply regulation on downstream must be different from the previous plans and procedures; recommendations to the competent authorities for consideration and decision.
