According to Mr. Vu Thanh Hai-Director of Vinh Tan 4 thermal power plant, the increased electricity output comes from the full optimal operation of three-600MW-units with high capacity, in combination with the readiness of maitenance system that ensures the devices’ good availability and smooth operation.
Besides, the plant has paid special attention to the recruitment of highly-qualified human resources, as well as training to enhance skills of operating workers in order to ensure safe, effective and continued power generation, contributing to maintaining high productivity, enough electricity supplies for national power grid in the first half of the year.
The plant has installed wastewater monitoring system and transmitted signals of emission parameters to Dfepartment of Natura lResources and Environment for supervision. In addition, water atomizers have been mobilized to prevent dust and clean the coal stocks. The plant has also strictly carried out the of watering slag areas in accordance with ash and slag treatment process for the purpose of environmental protection.
