At the meeting, the two sides discussed about the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the UAE in general, and the relationship of youth cooperation between the two countries in particular. Accordingly, 28 years since establishing diplomatic relations, the relationship between Vietnam and the UAE has been increasingly strengthened and developed, bringing many positive results and bright prospects, especially in terms of economics.
Speaking at the meeting, Nguyen Ngoc Luong said that the youth cooperation relationship between the two countries still has a lot of potential. In the context of the complicated development of the COVID-19 pandemic, Vietnam and the UAE can consider connecting and exchanging online between experts, youths and students about the areas of strength of the two sides.
More specifically, leaders, officials and experts of the UAE Embassy in Vietnam can participate in exchange and volunteer activities with Vietnamese youth and students. In addition, the two sides can coordinate to organise activities to introduce the culture of the UAE in particular, and the Middle East in general, to Vietnamese youth.
In the event that the COVID-19 epidemic is put under control, the two sides can consider implementing exchange activities of young politicians, parliamentarians and businessmen, creating favourable conditions for young people to connect, learn about investment and trade cooperation opportunities, and learn about the culture and history of each country.
