Accordingly, enterprises and trading units should actively set their own concrete plans to provide stable sources of food and essential goods for islanders to celebrate the Lunar New Year festival-year of the Rat. Especially, food and commodities supplies must ensure good quality, stable prices, and meet requirements on food safety and hygiene.
The provincial People’s Committee requires department of Industry and Trade to closely monitor the ups and downs of market to grasp residents’ demand and ensure stable flows of goods to Phu Quy island. Department of Industry and Trade should give support to enterprises in expanding their distribution networks in Phu Quy and prepare some responding measures if necessary.
