Tran Hung Dao gifted high school bagged 45 medalsat the traditional Olympic competition 30/4

BTO – As annually, the collectives of teachers and students of Tran Hung Dao gifted high school (Binh Thuan province) brought dozens of medals to the locality from the traditional Olympic competition 30/4 for excellent students in the southern provinces. This year, the school was placed 5th among 65 school participants, with a total of 45 medals including 25 golds, 13 silvers and 7 bronzes. Remarkably, the 11th-grader-Mathematic team was outstandingly ranked first place in the southern region.

The traditional Olympic competition 30/4 is yearly held for the purpose of hunting for talents in the grades of 10 and 11, fostering the movement of study and practice among gifted students and teachers in the southern provinces (from Da Nang southwards). The contest is initiated by Le Hong Phong Gifted high school (Ho Chi Minh city) also held in celebration of the coming Southern Liberation Day on April 30th.

Earlier, 10 students (five 9th graders and five 12th graders) of Tran Hung Dao gifted high school has earned 1 first, 2 third and 1 consolation prizes in the 17th National Maths competition using Handheld calculator held in Ho Chi Minh city.
