The brand name of Tanh Linh Rice is enlisted in the group 30 belonging to the commodity group of rice which is wholly protected. Although it is just the first step in the a long process of building the trademark “High-quality Tanh Linh rice”, the issuance has brought good news to local farmers since they engaged in high quality rice production.
Under the Resolution of the 7th Congress of the district’s Party Committee, which set the target of building an area specializing in rice cultivation with a total area of 3,000 hectares, rice growers in Tanh Linh district have been encouraged to raise the product’s economic value per hectare from VND 50 million to VND 70 million. This production model is continuously expanded in the locality.
