Province’s Leaders congratulate Catholics on Easter 2022

The delegation visited and congratulated the entire staff of the Phan Thiet Bishop’s Palace, the Representative Board of the Vietnamese Evangelical Church (In the Southern) province. Remarkably, they visited and asked for health to Bishop Joseph Do Manh Hung - Bishop of Phan Thiet Diocese, Pastor Nguyen Van Hoang - Head of the Representative Committee of the Vietnam Evangelical Church (South) province.

On the occasion of Easter 2022, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, Provincial People's Council and Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, on April 12th morning, led by Mr. Dang Hong Sy-Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department visited and extended greetings to local Catholic dignitaries and followers on the Easter holiday. Accompanying the delegation, there were Mr. Nguyen Minh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Bo Thi Xuan Linh - Chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; representatives of the Department of Home Affairs, the Provincial Committee of Religious Affairs and so on.

At the visited places, Mr. Sy briefed on the province's socio-economic situation in the first months of 2022 such as the progress of key projects in the province, the resumption of the province's tourism development after the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic; the stable situation of political security, social order and safety in the province, social security activities, etc. He also emphasized the province's overall achievements thanks to the active contributions of Catholics and Protestants in the province.

On the occasion of Easter Holiday 2022, on behalf of the delegation, Mr. Dang Hong Sy presented flowers and gifts and wished priests, pastors, faithful and parishioners to enjoy a joyful, peaceful and happy holiday. At the same time, He expected that the local Catholics and followers would continue to promote the spirit of religious solidarity, well implement patriotic emulation movements, and local campaigns to contribute to promoting local socio-economic development.

In return to such warmness, representatives of religious institutions expressed their excitement at the province's achievements. At the same time, they thanked to the attention and active support of the provincial leaders for local religious establishments, especially in religious activities. They promised to encourage local Catholic followers to join efforts in building a city with a high quality of life, as well as national construction and development.
