National Table Tennis Clubs Championship 2022 wrapped up

BTO- The closing & awarding ceremony of National Table Tennis Clubs Championship 2022 (Thai Lam Cup) officially took place on Friday evening (June 10) at Binh Thuan provincial Sports Training and Competition Center (Phan Thiet city).

After 5 days of competition, Table Tennis Club of Ba Ria –Vung Tau won the gold medal in the category of under-45 years old women’s team, Lam Dong 1 club won silver while 2 bronze medals were awarded to HCM City’s Police club and Tay Ninh 1 club. In the category of over-45 years old women’s team, gold medal went to Binh Dinh Club and Thai Nguyen Club earned the silver. Two bronze medals belong to Lac Hong Club (Khanh Hoa province) and Club of Sai Gon Locomotive Train engine factory.

At the same time, in the category of under-50 years old men’s team, Nghe An Joola Viet ED club excellently won gold medal, followed by Thai Ha Club with silver , Khanh Hoa Club and Doan Ket Club with bronze medals. In the category of over-50 years old men’s team, Lam Dong Club won 2 gold medals while Binh Duong Club earned a silver. Two bronze medals went to Ba Ria-Vung Tau Club and Thai Nguyen Club. The organizing board also awarded 45 sets of medals to athletes winning the categories of mixed doubles, men’s doubles, women doubles, men singles and women singles.

With the participation of 400 athletes, the largest-ever number of this tournament, the 2022 National Table Tennis Clubs Championship brought localm audience many high-quality matches and wonderful performance. The tournament is one of table tennis events organized with the purpose of discovering and developing talented athletes for higher-level competitions.
