Currently, the local health sector has arranged 20 isolated beds at the Binh Thuan general hospital’s infectious department in response to the epidemic outbreak from Wuhan, China. In case of the number of nCoV patients increases, they will move the entire in-patients in the department and prioritize additional 60 beds for the Coronavirus-infected patients.
As for district-level hospitals, each prepares 8 isolation beds and always readies to receive patients. At the present, the entire health sector has prepared all medical facilities in serve for at least 300 cases of coronavirus-infected patients.
At the provincial general hospital, Chairman Hai urged the Health sector to put all effort for the competition of isolation area as he inspected this area, ensuring sufficient medical entities to serve for doctor and medical staffs.
As of 3.00 PM on January 30th, the country has recorded 05 positive cases of with nCoV, including 3 Vietnamese and 2 Chinese nationals. There are other 97 suspected cases that are under monitor, including 65 cases have their results returned negative with nCoV; 32 cases are still isolated and kept a close watch, awaiting final test results. Additionally, plus 43 people are being quarantined despite having normal health as they had contact with suspected nCoV-infected patients.
At Binh Thuan province, no cases of corona infection or suspects are identified in the locality so far.
