The construction of the hospital, the first of its kind in the south central
province, was divided into two phases.
The first one commenced in the third quarter of 2014 on an area of 3,700 square
metres and with total investment of 150 billion VND (6.4 million USD).
The second one will be implemented in 2019 with total cost of 300 billion VND.
The seven-storey hospital now has 45 standard beds and 11 departments.
Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dang Ngoc Dung said the
hospital will help ease the overload at public health facilities and provide
more high-quality healthcare services for locals.
