Over 600 athletes joined Sacombank’s cross-country running tournament 2019

The event, co-organized by the Saigon Thuong Tin Comercial Join Stock Bank (Sacombank)-Binh Thuan branch, department of Education & Training, and department of Culture-Sports and Tourism, had the participation of Mr. Duong Van An- deputy secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Mr. Luong Van Hai- standing vice Chairman of the provincial People’s , leaders of departments, agencies, and over 600 athletes from high schools in Phan Thiet city and provincial Boarding school for ethnic students. Runners competed in 2 categories of distance (5 km for male and 3 km for female). As a result, the organizing board awarded the first prize (male) to Phan Boi Chau high school, second prize to the provincial boarding school for ethnic students, and third prize to Phan Chu Trinh high School.  In the category for female runners, the first prize went to the provincial Boarding school for ethnic students while the second and third prizes belong to Phan Chu Trinh and Phan Boi Chau schools.

As reported, the 2019 cross-country running tournament “Together with Sacombank run for the community health” attracted more than 28,000 athletes in 39 provinces/cities. In Binh Thuan, it has been held for the 10^th time and become one of yearly sporting events in the locality, contributing to promoting the movement  of “All people practice exercise following the example of President Ho Chi Minh”.
