Free-of-charge swimming class for disadvantaged children

BTO- Some 30 disadvantaged children aged from 10 to 15 in Phan Thiet city and Ham Thuan Bac district have attended a free 12-day swimming class from August 14th – 26th. The free class was kicked off on August 15th morning by Binh Thuan province’s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Department of Culture-Sports and Tourism at the Binh Thuan sport talents and professional physical training school.

The attendees will be instructed how to underwater breathing skills, swimming styles (such as frog-style, spread of arms, etc.). The total cost went from the support of the two organizers.

The free-of-charge swimming class, in its 2nd time, targets at providing students with swimming skills, reducing the risk of drown among the children.
