The exhibtion had the attendance of representative leaders of provincial departments, Tanh Linh district as well as students, youth union members from local units and people’s armed forces.
According to Mr. Duong Tu-deputy director of department of Information and Communications, the exhibition is an activity which has been organized nationwide with the aim to raise awareness, solidarity and responsibility of the cadres, soldiers, and whole people in Vietnam, overseas Vietnamese, especially the young, in protecting and confirming national sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa Archipelagoes.
Collections of maps, several documents, publications of Vietnamese and international historians, researchers are on display. They include images and data affirming that Hoang Sa and Truong Sa Archpelagoes belong to Vietnam.
Earlier, a similar exhibition was held in Duc linh district with the participation of 2,400 visitors. Also, department of Information and Communications plans to take this exhibition to Ham Thuan Bac and Bac Binh districts in the coming time.
