With outstanding and comprehensive achievements, taking the lead in the national patriotic emulation movement in 2017, Binh Thuan was one of 20 collectives being awarded Patriotic Emulation Flags by Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
Over the past year, patriotic emeulation movements have been well implemented by departments, branches, agencies and localities in Binh Thuan with strong response of local people, contributing to successfully fulfilling socioeconomic tasks, ensuring social welfare and political stability, enhancing security and national defence as well as preserving social order.
During one year period, many innovative models have been promoted effectively, as follows: “Unified groups for seafood exploitation”, “CCTV for crime prevention”, etc. Besides, typical persons in the movement of farmers doing good business, crime prevention and “say no to bribe” have been disseminated among people. Work relating to emulation and reward has been timely and properly carried out by departments and authorities at all levels.
This honorable reward is considered as a driving power for Binh Thuan to strive and overfulfil its socioeconomic developmen, security and national defence tasks in 2018 and the five-year plan for socioeconomic development (2016-2020).
