The country scored 38.34 to rank 3rd in ASEAN after Singapore and Malaysia. Switzerland continued its dominance as the world's most innovative economy for the 7thconsecutive year. The index, released yesterday, is co-published by Cornell University, Insead and the World Intellectual Property Organization, and surveys about 130 economies.
Viet Nam climbed 12 notches to 47th among 130 economies on the global innovation index, according to the World Intellectual Property Organization’s latest survey.
Now in its 10th edition, the GII 2017 focuses on innovation in agriculture and food systems.
