Speaking at the conference, PM Pham Minh Chinh stated that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so far, disbursement of public investment has only reached 47.38% of the yearly plan.
He underscored the need to accelerate the disbursement of public investment, considering that as one of the solutions to contribute to the recovery and promotion of socio-economic development.
The Government leader requested that ministries, sectors and localities devise more effective solutions to accelerate public investment disbursement, as well as review the allocation of public investment capital to ensure that the capital is injected into feasible projects.
It is also necessary to continue reviewing mechanisms, policies and regulations related to public investment for timely amendment and supplementation, PM Chinh noted.
