The caravan tour is scheduled to take place from January 6-17, 2016 with 70 participating tour operators from the Southeast Asian countries and India. The trip will cover many routes for the members to explore and conquer intriguing destinations through Thailand-Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia. On January 12, by 25 cars of 4 and 7 seats such as: coupe, CUV, SUV, hatchback, capriolet, the caravan is expected to come to Phan Thiet to conquer impressive sand dunes at Bau Trang (White Lake) tourist area, one of wonderful natural landscapes of Binh Thuan. The province’s tourism sector will take full advantage of promoting attracting products, especially sea-related sports, unique culinary, cultural sites, and the most marvelous and nicest sand dunes in Mui Ne.
Touring through foreign countries in caravan of cars is a new trend that is an increasingly popular form of vacationing in Vietnam in the recent years. Caravan tours including interesting routes travelling through many countries help attract international tourists (especially adventurous tourists who like long-haul tours) from neighbouring countries. Now many clubs and tourism companies inside and outside the country are getting involved in organizing and sponsoring for trans-Viet and tran-nations caravan tours.
