The 23-km Hoa Thang – Hoa Phu coastal road costs nearly VND 1,000 billion. It starts at Hong Thang turning point (Hoa Thang commune, Bac Binh district) and ends at the foot of Song Luy bridge (Hoa Phu commune, Tuy Phong district). The road structure is so wide that vehicles can travel conveniently. The width of roadbed is from 45.5 to 50 meters while the width of the road’s surface is 24 meters, comprising of 2 lanes with 12-meter-wide each and a broad divider in the middle of tow lanes.
One of the most exciting feelings when getting across the road is beautiful landscapes along its two sides. Visitors can contemplate some up-and-down sand dunes with packed of tourists and locals playing with white sand. Besides, a peaceful beach is almost accompanied with the road for a long journey.
The coastal road is formed for the purpose of serving socioeconomic development and boosting local sea tourism and keeping the two districts’ national defense and security.
The newly-put into operation of Hoa Thang – Hoa Phu road on Tet holiday also helps connect the coastal route of Binh Thuan from Ham Tan – La Gi – Ham Thuan Nam – Phan Thiet – Bac Binh to Tuy Phong with a sharp cut of travelling time and a safety way.
