Over the past six months, the city welcomed 2.3 million turns of visitors, an increase of 11% compared with that of the same period last year. Of which, there were 270,000 turns of foreign tourists, up 9.4%.
Currently, Phan Thiet city has about 204 registered tourism projects, with 108 operational projects and 23 projects which are under. Other 43 projects have not been constructed. Phan thiet city’s authorities have partnered with functional agencies to carry out promotion activities, enhance the quality of tourism products and other services. At the same time, the city’s authorities have also focused on resolving problems and obstacles to facilitate the construction and operation of tourism projects. The city has also paid attention to addressing issues relating environment and sanitation, food hygiene and safety, security, sea rescue at resorts and tourist spots.
