The conference was chaired by Mr. Ramu Damodaran - Editor-in-Chief of the United Nations Chronicles Review, Chief of Academic Impact of the United Nations. Attending the meeting were Mr. Kamal Malhotra - United Nations Resident Coordinator in Vietnam, Governor Michael Dukakis - President of Boston Global Forum and Michael Dukakis Institute; Harvard and MIT professors. Representing the Vietnamese were Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh - General Director of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Mr. Le Tuan Phong - Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee; leaders of Novaland Group (at Ho Chi Minh City bridge point).

At the conference, participants discussed model of typical cities of the world by 2045 - the year that the United Nations is 100 years old. Delegates also proposed the model of the connection between NovaWorld Phan Thiet and AIWS City - the combination of a virtual city and a real city that can create a unique model of the world by 2045. In the meantime, they launched activities to help Phan Thiet become "the No. 1 MICE tourist city in the region and the world".
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee - Le Tuan Phong said: “The Prime Minister of Vietnam has approved the master plan for the development of Mui Ne National Tourist Area - Binh Thuan to 2025, with a vision by 2040. Accordingly, Mui Ne and surrounding areas have been selected to become the priority area for tourism development in Vietnam, creating a strong rebound and attracting investments to help Binh Thuan become a charming destination for tourists.
Through time, Binh Thuan province has made significant changes in its vision, implementing synchronous planning for infrastructure such as the under-construction expressway, and would-be Phan Thiet airport which is expected to start in April 2021. It is predicted that by 2025, the transport infrastructure systems to connect Phan Thiet city with other provincies/cities will be completed.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee added that Binh Thuan set a target that by 2030, Phan Thiet will be a desirable tourism and resort destination, for the purposes of Marine tourism and entertainment, adventure tourism, sports, cultural and spiritual tourism, wellness tourism, relaxation and especially conference travel (MICE). The Chairman hopes to have great cooperation and receives strong support from the delegates, in order to contribute to making Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan soon become a leading MICE tourist destination in the world.
