Besides watching documentary, participants were generalized information about the Vietnam’s national sovereignty over sea and islands; the United Nations convention on the Law of the Sea of 1982; strategic positions on national defense – security, economy and society of some waters territories; especially the standpoint and guideline of the Party, State in solving disputes in the sea. Lieutenant Dao Xuan Nguyen – president of the Political Brigade 681 was presenter.
The propaganda helped many grade 12 students grasp much more knowledge about current situation of sea and islands, awakening the young generation’s awareness and responsibilities to the protection of the national sovereignty over the national sea and islands.
