Over 294,000 students welcomed back to schools

BTO- On May 11, all educational facilities in Binh Thuan fully opened to welcome students and pupils of all grades after months-long closure over the coronavirus pandemic. Most of kindergarteners and students of all education levels feel eager to return to schools after an over-three-month break.

At early morning, schools’ gates were opened with teachers waiting for students to give them instructions in practicing a number of preventive measures, such as: wearing face masks and sterilizing hands before entering classrooms, as well as checking body temperatures. According statistics, 80% of kindergarteners back to schools in the first day. Teachers have prepared all material facilities and teaching tools to ensure safety and hygiene for children when they come to schools.

Primary schools also took preventive measures to keep classrooms clean before welcoming back their students. One week earlier, students of 9th and 12th grades in the whole province resumed study in accordance with direction of the provincial department of Education and training, with a number of disease prevention measures which requested students to seat at least two meters from one another to avoid close interaction.

But since, Ministry of Education and Training has removed regulations relating to social distancing in classrooms.
