Outstanding teachers and students honored

Outstanding students are praised at the ceremony

On this occasion, the Ministry of Education and Training granted certificates of merit to five grade 12 students of Tran Hung Dao high school for their excellent achievements in the national contest for good students.

At the same time, Chairman of the provincial People’s committee presented certificates of merit to 30 teachers who won prizes at the 2016-2017 school year. In addittion, 169 students representing for 1,328 good students in the provincial, regional and national contests were also hailed at the ceremony.

Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Phan Doan Thai – director of the department of education and training highlighted the significance of teaching and learning and the great contribution of good teachers and students in society. He expected those teachers and students would continue endeavoring their best for the cause of education and training.
