Leader worked with investors of offshore wind power project

BTO-Vice chairman of the provincial people’s Committee Luong Van Hai on April 9 arranged a working session with Asia Petroleum Energy Corporation (AsiaPetro) representing investors of offshore wind power project in Binh Thuan.

The wind power plant project, invested by the conglomerate of AsiaPetro with Pure Energy Corporation and Novasia Energy Company Limited, has a combined capacity of  3 Megawatts and a total capital of USD 6 billion. The project has 5 phases, covering a total sea surface of 106,000 hectares in the two communes of Binh Thanh (Tuy Phong district) and Hoa Thang (Bac Binh district).

At the meeting, the provincial People’s Committee provided investors information about the procedures and investment process. Vice Chairman Luong Van Hai agreed with the investors’ plan to install an onshore head anemometer on an authorized location.
